I disagree that they can't be entry level positions. If a person has their ear to the ground for the community they would like to represent, I say good on them and go for it. it's the choice of their constituents. It's a bit of an originalist interpretation of the role, but I truly think anyone should be able to do it so long as their closet isn't bursting with skeletons.
