I think the ostrich is the perfect symbol for Nostr because I can just put my head in the sand if I get scared or feel threatened.

Really digging the owncast stream. I had it up on my TV using my ChromeCast and it was like watching Twitch but better.

We stuck Lightning in it so anything is possible...

I checked and custom images work just fine on CalyxOS with the latest APK. I did a screen recording of it but I cant get it to upload here so I can drop it in the telegram if it helps.

I think your more limited by the power of the node but I just did one in 36 hours on a tiny Beelink computer.

This is my main complaint with Nostr, it's trying to reinvent social media which in itself is a shitcoin. I use X, Nostr and Mastodon for social media and Nostr is the worse one of them all. It's just a bunch of fart stiffing and praising Daddy Dorsey.

I think a lot of this needs to change on the creator's side. Take Fountain for example, great podcasting 2.0 app but if some of the popular bitcoin podcasts that are hosted on Spotify/Anchor/Megaphone were to get kicked off then they are gone from any podcast app.

I had this same issue with the APK on CalyxOS. I tried the TestFlight version first and it worked fine, click Alby icon and save. On CalyxOS I can't save Alby or any of the other presets.

They tend to run long but are great to listen to off and on during the day. Since JRE is on YouTube now he cant play YT videos on the show which kind of sucks but it's still funny.

They always play the Team America World Police theme song but can't now b/c Joe will get a YT strike. 😂

Those options are great but that doesn't help if you get deplatformed from YouTube.

I was talking more about it from a creator's side. Tons of people on here saying Nostr only while still relying on Big Tech.
