At least for me it's because I opted completely out of all non bitocin related news. Almost all problems are caused by FIAT money, thus I want to put my energy into fixing the root problem. Everything else is noise to me until we replaced the actual monetary system.
What I find most exciting about Bitcoin is our passionate community. I have participated in meetups and conferences, met countless individuals from all over the world. What strikes me the most is that nobody EVER talks about the price per Bitcoin. Instead, the focus is on the technology and how it can create a more equitable financial system.
We are a movement that is driving real change in the world. The passion and energy is contagious, and it gives me so much hope for humanity.
