That's the 3rd century prayer of the heart also called the "Jesus prayer", a prayer close to the heart of EO Christians.
I want to say Jesus should be in the room, but that comment feels like heresy 😅
My wife sent them to me from facebook, we are in touch with a few of these people on the thread but
1. I dont know the one person who is claiming this knowledge
2. Its apparently a mom board that is still on the qanon kick
3. It's from facebook
So because of these three things and the fact i cant really find anything online about it otherwise, i assume its not as drastic as shes making it out to be.
Still love it, during low fee times. I moved all my sats a week ago when fees were 20vb
I agree, i was asking for a friend
Maybe start by looking up different hashtags? I see a bunch of variety, but I had to dig for it initially
Not easy is an understatement. I've lost millions of sats through multiple attempts to go non custodial. Its experimental tech, in an industry that is competitive and hardly anyone is willing to divulge how they run a successful channel. It's not at all worth it for anyone who isn't living off their massive stack they started 13 years ago. Ive opted for liquid instead for fees, utxo management, and built safer than a single instance ruggable custodial. Ill take crap for my decision, but its not for a lack of trying.
The post office would have to be in on it, and getting them to do anything with new tech is impossible. I thought of this, but sha256 cant be decrypted meaning that they would need a db with the address of orders next to the encrypted code which they would be able to validate appropriately without your knowledge.
I appreciate that, but they would need to trust that I am not going to use that information when the gov eventually incentivizes rats. Im thinking more of a no trust option.
Meant to say all my mishaps working with non custodials.
Here's a good intro:
I only started experimenting with it because of all my work non custodial lightning. BTC Sessions has some great resources about it if curious
Youve created a monster, thanks for this lol
Beautiful. Not gonna lie, I cried a little. Havent dug into the life of St. John. That'll be my next book
How did the scripture link like that? What is this witchcraft?
Bitcoin in Middle School Update: Our first semester of the 'Intro to Bitcoin' elective for 6th-8th graders had a rocky start. Initially, no students enrolled, but just before the deadline, two based kids signed up - game on!
By the end of semester one we learned kids:
• Love CypherPunks and permissionles FOSS everything
• Can create and restore a Green Wallet on iOS
• Can install and configure Bitcoin Core, Umbrel and Start9 types of nodes
• Can open lightning channels between our class nodes, thanks nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8, and hate high fees
• Can absolutely understand "not your keys, not your coins"
• Are getting the "stay humble and stack sats" - middle school humble - baby steps.
Exponential Growth?? - Now in semester two, our class size is blowing up a MASSIVE 100% to 4 students (ok with one returning)! At this growth rate, I'm pretty sure eleventy billion kids will be in that class soon - to the moon yo!
Shout out to nostr:npub17u5dneh8qjp43ecfxr6u5e9sjamsmxyuekrg2nlxrrk6nj9rsyrqywt4tp and nostr:npub1e0z776cpe0gllgktjk54fuzv8pdfxmq6smsmh8xd7t8s7n474n9smk0txy for donating Testnet bitcoin for the kids to play with - I was going broke trying to demonstrate transactions on main net in a 40 min class - get off my lawn you stinking mempool clogging JPEGS!! 😄
Homeshool co op?
Yeah boooy, safer than custodial lightning, let's you wait out high fees before chaining it, and you get no sweat utxo management all in one. Come on in... the waters fine 🤣🤣
The prayer book from Holy Trinity monastery in Jordanville is great for home use: https://a.co/d/gb0woel
My go-to prayer app is iOS only but it’s great: https://apps.apple.com/app/id467806204
And here is the calendar app I use. It’s not the prettiest thing in the world, but the content is great: https://apps.apple.com/app/id381641703
I have the hard copy of jordanville i typically use for morning and evening prayers, but I'll tell my wife about it as she is ios. The calendar we use is similar to this one but not as convenient. This one seems to have some fancy referencing abilities. I'll check it out, thanks!
