Today, I was humbled to receive the prestigious “New York’s Phenomenal Woman” award, presented by the New York Staten Island Justice Center, for my initiative to eradicate hunger and poverty in New York! 💫
I’m beyond grateful and honored to be recognized for my efforts, and I extend a huge thank you to the Department of Justice New York City, New York State, my workplace NY Presbyterian, The Spot Family Enrichment Center, Staten Island justice center and the incredible women who have supported me on this journey. 💕 and thank you for those that nominated me for this award. I can’t believe you thought of me for ‘phenomenal women of #newyork’ love you all.

Last year, I thought to myself, how cool it would be if I was the people’s hero of #newyork. This year I am the people’s Hero of new york. I manifested it, you can too!!! Big things often have Small Beginnings. That’s something I’ve always believed in. Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month #munasocialservices in #jacksonheights distributes free groceries on 3535 71 st Jackson Heights NY 11372. No registration of household income is required. Just come with an empty bag of groceries and fill it up. They have everything from fruits and veggies to legumes, canned foods, juices and sometimes even rare to find grocery items. They will happily give you more if you request more of some items and less of other items.
