for real, it's a very special place -- incredible energy
it's what CR π¨π· would be if it had within a few km the climate/vegetation of norway and menorca
I love this place π§‘

love coracle, especially since it's on svelte and makes working on it so effortless
not gonna lie, selfishly, one of the things I look forward to the most with bitcoin+nostr swallowing everything else is not having to learn any more proprietary APIs
reflect on the millions of human-hours WASTED learning/implementing irrelevant APIs to siloed data stores that become obsolete within years
#[13]'s Rugging as a Service β
the effects of BitcoinHackers vs BRB.io going down can't illustrate the contrast between the two protocols any clearer
hackathon starts in 1+ day
come have fun under a nym!
lol, I did know that and was following him already
I guess he doesn't use it (yet)
weren't you playing with rust a while ago?
wtf, luke is here? didn't know that
one of the reasons I'm hesitant to publish NDK broadly is because right now tooling sucks; all clients are reinventing the wheel
most implementations are naive af (I know, I wrote like five super naive already)
but out of this naivete comes evolution (with NDK I arrived at a very similar conclusion as the gossip implementation where relays are scored and traversed based on prior knowledge (storing this data is similar to the issue LDK has with storing channel state)
I fear that if we release a good-enough implementation that is not stupid we won't feel the pain and continue to evolve to find better relay navigation
π
yeah, very nice
would be nice if it were a nostr frontend and I could keep the data here encrypted
specially for tx labels, I don't want to host my data somewhere else!
damn, did we all built the same thing? I also already built an NDK that I've been using for my projects π
