I've seen so many liberty activists burn out over the years. It's a brutal and unforgiving pursuit, and the liberty movement often eats itself.

At the end of the day though, it's absolutely worth it.

Nothing quite like experiencing another country's silly laws to remind you that you've gotten too used to your own country's nonsense.

As the great Kenn Bosak once said, "We're the beta testers of money. It sucks." 😅

I'm reminded of this as I go to test out crypto payment solutions in 5 countries in the space of a week 😵‍💫

Pretty insane that a New Hampshire-made, ranked-#1,000+ by market cap, attacked-by-the-SEC crypto project still manages to have more users than most of the decentralized social media space combined! 🤯

Econ 101: Having more choices means providers compete provide the best services possible in order to win over customers. It's clear the US doesn't feel like it needs to compete.

National divorce definitely reduces tyranny. To argue against it argues for central planning.

This is why it blows my mind that some paranoid privacy advocates won't use crypto but still use banks. It's insane! 😵‍💫

Really great and extensive conversation with Lorenzo about Bitcoin's congesting these past couple of weeks. Highly recommended if you have two hours to burn.

Everyone download Signal and turn on auto-deleting messages. It's the first step in safeguarding your privacy.

Twitter is unfortunately far and away the best product on social media. I can't wait for good decentralized alternatives that don't have a potato UX.

Everything I do is for one simple goal: freedom. I believe in making people's lives around the world as free and self-directed as possible.

I believe in this for its own sake, but also because I believe freedom produces the best objectively-measurable outcomes like wealth.

Whether it's crypto, the Free State Project, privacy, open-source tech, and generally libertarianism, all these are to maximize freedom as effectively as possible.

Followed. So the great exodus begins...

What if the real decentralized, uncensorable sound money is the friends we made along the way?

Today at 3pm EDT/7pm UTC Lorenzo Rey joins the Digital Cash Rundown to talk about Bitcoin's crazy congestion episode and more!

If the decisions of every business you frequented were subject to a popular vote, you'd hate them.

Voting for things you think you want (high minimum wage, government healthcare) doesn't work out like it did in your head.
