Precisely. Thinking of it as turbo charging a #btc circular economy.

Hi Catty, just the wild ramblings of a tired mind.
But here's a specific scenario I had in mind.
I sell widgets and the price of 1 widget is $10/USD.
However, I have a 20% discount code for customers that are buying my widget in #BTC. So the net cost for these customers to buy my widget is $8/USD paid and settled in BTC.
So, the fiat tax in this scenario is 20%. Folks who buy my widgets in fiat (the first group) are essentially paying more for my widgets then group number 2 whom are paying in BTC.
Now, I assume this is already a thing, but I don't know. Just the wild musings of a tired mind, which I was last night when I posted this note.
"What is a #fiat sales tax?" So, they ask.
A fiat tax is when customers &/or clients can save up to 20% on whatever they're buying by paying in #BTC that difference between the fiat price vs the #btc equivalent price is the #FiatSalesTax
Most clients/customers pay it (fiat tax). But some figure out how to buy Bitcoin so they can avoid #fiattax
An experiment in progress....I've heard.

Yeah age probably plays a big part. Maybe show them some people doing it such as nostr:npub12pl4h7pk0svg8ug4mhu7a90hn6nf83eqadd94pccgsafn73s392qpt42wq, who's on here. There's a guy here in Australia that's doing it too, he had the Beef Initiative guy speak at his place for people.
You should get a T-Shirt with your dads quote on it, that's gold π

This is a great suggestion. Will def make that approach next time I'm over there shopping. I get my eggs and whatever they're selling for the week. The other ones sells me rabbit meat for the pooches.
Or said slightly differently "to protect their criminals".
Be careful. You might find yourself running your own node next. ππ π€£ Another job you didn't even interview for but got anyway.
Top of the mornin #Nostr fam
I slept in a bit today. It felt awesome. But a full day ahead, so getting ready to rock and roll for about 10 hours.
What have you got planned for these next, once in a lifetime 10 hours?
Have a terrific Thursday all.

Conversation with random stranger walking his dog on the trails ends with....."so Bitcoin? Should I buy some?"
Me: You should read about it and understand how it's different from crypto and USD. Then decide for yourself. And listed a couple titles to start.
I think it's an age thing. Same with my pops. He appreciates my excitement about Bitcoin. But he's not interested.
When I was trying to convince him to buy some "Yahoo" stock in the 90's. He was like "what is this yahoo thing. When I drive through the city, I don't see empty yahoo cups on the street. I see empty coca-cola cups, not yahoo. Nobody drinks yahoo."
These neighbors are both about the same age as my pops.
I have 8 acres and relatively level for gardening if that was an interest. I keep the visible parts clearand neat. But around the back and on one side, I want and have wild shrubbery. A home for rabbits and snakes. They keep the dogs entertained and busy.
You got this. πͺπΎLFG
