At a quick glance, it looks like some folks got rekt somehow involving Ledger. If anyone has any details please share. Seems notes have been deleted, so a screenshot would be helpful.
As for today, I expect I'll be coasting into the gas station on fumes just barely making it. Bro man is out of fuel. Overall a good week, but a grueling one.

💯🎯 the incentive structures are such that it makes profitable for them in the short term.
When I was younger, that was an option (also pizza and pasta). But as an older man those come with a side order of diabetes and those don't sit well with me.
It's always a challenge to keep my weight up in the winter bc the body work is different and the morning miles are faster.
We mitigate this by throwing in one of these during the day and have more red meat and less fish proteins for dinner.
A family member has been regularly sending me IG links from their feed for a few years. Lately, I've noticed the algo has been (perhaps erroneously) feeding her some content that is different for the better.
They went from twerking blobs of jelly in daisy duke shorts to things like "day trader is making a profit by copying stock trades of elected politicians."
She'll soon understand why this is working or happening. Might take a while yet, but she is on a subtle path to the #BTC rabbit hole.
Fun to watch the development.

You are 💯 on the smarts. It began in the school systems, about at least 20 years ago. These students are now "adults". While many were impacted in the younger generations, there are equally as many who have managed to seek and learn on their own. I'm optimistic bc I see many of them on this platform and I encounter some IRL as well.
It just seems worse then it is bc the ones that promote the senseless ideas usually have louder mics and bigger platforms and followings.
Had to look up LOTR. But yes, I get that. You go back a bit and even with some of the older TV shows, while the production quality was not as advanced, you'll find the content was of much different quality. I'd say better quality content, but that's of course subjective. If I had young children in the house, they'd only be able to watch the old stuff (without ads of course).
Why is that so obvious to many of us, but not so much the majority of us?!
IYKYK in time, just maybe, they will too.
It's almost like watching Groundhog day 🤣😂😅.
They're still early. They could be doing worse and playing Russian roulette with the other stuff out there and getting rekt.
In other words, the people on nostr behave like grown ups for the most part.
Be careful when you do this, but stream some American TV programming for a few minutes, there, you will find the answer you seek. But stuff is infectious, so keep it brief. If you like the clothes you have that is.
We've gotten pretty good at kicking that can down the road. IMO not sure it'll happen in my lifetime and I don't plan on going anytime soon.
