We will eventually reach a point where small, local #Bitcoin circular economies merge with each other and the #BTC circular economy will simply be the norm. The overall economy will simply be Bitcoin oriented, operating at scale as the only medium of exchange or alongside another fiat currency.
There is a very good chance that we will see this realized first in #ElSalvador. The project Bitcoin Dominicana has been making major progress growing the #Bitcoin circular economy in the #DominicanRepublic. They are one of the recipients of our recent Bitcoin Beach Grants for Bitcoin Circular Economies, an initiative on which FBCE partnered with Bitcoin Beach (El Salvador) and nostr:npub1kmwdmhuxvafg05dyap3qmy42jpwztrv9p0uvey3a8803ahlwtmnsnhxqk9.
Bitcoin Dominicana's efforts have begun receiving a LOT of public and media attention, including the recent article below. While the article needs correction that we are talking about Bitcoin only and not "other crypto", and that businesses are only accepting Bitcoin as payment, it is good to see media tuning in.
