another thing with Linux audio is that a lot of audio plugins I use don't support it, i.e. Omnisphere, Serum and all of the Softube plugins. I have a Raspberry Pi running Raspbian (their version of Debian) which I use to run a few things so I'm not really scared of using Linux, it's moreso just a lack of compatibility with things I use on the daily.

unfortunately I have to stick to Windows for the time being due to needing the Adobe suite and preferring the audio drivers.
