I've actually never had a bad experience in one. I remember being in one about 4 winters ago and the manager going table to table to apologize to people that the fireplace wasn't lit because they were out of firewood (it wasn't even cold, he was just sorry they couldn't have the fire)
Those are so good, Cracker Barrel is also the only chain restaurant that serves even half decent greens anymore
