I’ve said before it’s not totally out of the question for a convoluted chain of phone calls to have been made pressing on the editor/publisher in order to prove eren ‘wrong’ in the end. There was a lot of hubbub when the show was popular stateside about it ‘glorifying fascism’, to the point normies got into it.
