I'm at a crossroads, and have some important decisions to make regarding the news of the app UI sunset.
I have no doubt that NativeBase will still be supported beyond the next few months, so:
I can move forward with feature dev and a public app launch next month (and delay refactoring)
or
I can start refactoring the app now, and delay public release and new features until the new year
The current app is the 3rd iteration, and is thousands LoC already.
I'm not looking forward to having to refactor a significant portion of the app, and while I have a few ideas to resolve this, I just gotta say that mobile app development moves way faster than web and it's not as fun as it looks.
The UI framework I'm using for the nostr:npub120zh308gs69j3vwgvvrzgglv58vsk3q0vef43uajyu0lc3mtldsq2p33r2 app is being sunsetted in the next few months.

Working on a much needed refactor!
I updated https://pixelfed.org/mobile-apps with new Android builds (much smaller), the ability to view older builds and finally an RSS feed to easily track updates!

It's a SPA, but before you ask, it does not use the Mastodon API so it won't work with other platforms.
Not sure if people are aware of the Privacy Pledge that is required for every server listed at https://pixelfed.org/servers!
