Thank you for your drive to do what you do! I am trying to get some other artists I know into the valueverse too. But it’s a bit harder than simply encouraging them to make an account on a platform. It requires a bit more knowledge. I guess I will find out what’s harder, orange pilling or purple pilling 😂

We have been on #nostr and the #valueverse for just over a month now. I want to talk about the experience so far. Been blown away by the community as a whole. Nostr, like bitcoin, seems to attract a certain type of person. The curious people, the do-ers, the builders, and lovers of truth and freedom. That in itself has made the protocol very welcoming. Add to that the community of #v4vmusic which we had no idea about at all! The fact that there is some growing global "underground" of independent music with artists, listeners and podcasters/V4VJs blew our minds! We feel like it would have been nice to get here earlier, as it sounds like there was a lot of enthusiasm around the space and it's potential. I believe it was Salty Crayon on his last episode of nostr:nprofile1qqsfemtk0gvy23rpj4agywtzrfj4guka2n6wxnalwcl7p36sx6lmk0qpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszxrhwden5te0wfjkccte9enx7atww3skjm3wvekj7el4fdv that said there was once around a dozen V4V music shows and now you can count on one hand how many there are. I think a lot of time may have been dedicated with little reward, and add to the fact that it seems a lot of people hate how AI has penetrated music and taken the focus away from the humaness and connections to others it can make. We hope to keep listening to these great shows and keep discovering others out there. I think, just like in bitcoin, we all are super early...and sometimes that's a lonely place to be in. But perhaps also like in bitcoin, we will start to see some pumps from more people joining in and perhaps some scaling solutions as well. Ways of making nostr easier to access for the sub average dim wit 😂. However I love how smart everyone is on here! So maybe that shouldn't change lol. Anyways, just want to let Nostr know you add value to our lives and we hope we add value to yours✌

Thank you sir! It’s been awesome connecting with you and others so far. In some ways we feel late to the party, but there is so much potential in this space for sure!
In 2021 we made a decision as a band: to become completely independent and record, engineer, produce, mix and master our own songs in a home studio. Since then, we have mainly dedicated our musical time to improving our skills in the studio. It has been a huge learning curve and continues to be, but we feel we are better musicians for doing it. When we released our first homemade project (our self titled album in 2023), it was the culmination of all our trial-and-error learning, musical experimentation and progress we had made as self recording musicians and mixing engineers. We continued to learn after this experience and have started to get back to the recording and mixing studio to record new material, but also edit and master some older material, both unreleased and released (on traditional centralized platforms). We are so thankful for discovering #nostr and #v4vmusic as an alternative to Fiatbook, and PooTube, and Spitify because this gave us a growing online community that contains genuinely interested people in v4v music. We are thankful for engagement on these older, centralized platforms but really want to build our presence in the valueverse. So far we have released our EP into the #valueverse, and will continue to release material including some singles, and our full length album. First we have been preparing a live album for release. It is essentially a recorded set from a gig that includes 3 songs from our EP and some others. Stay tuned for it's release in early December!

Thanks brother. We are working on getting some more stuff released on V4V platforms soon as well. Currently editing a live album, a new single, and hopefully will be remastering our album we released in 2023 to put up as well. That was our first attempt at recording and mixing ourselves so we want to make sure it holds up to all the other great V4V tracks!
