This is an example of how volatile the enforcement of laws/policies and complete disregard of traditions/precedents destabilize everyone and everything.

It permeates the subconscious of entire generations. The depression and anxiety are at all time highs in the US. The “people in power” are the fucked up adults in the room. Our dad is a psychopathic narcissist and our mom is a bipolar drugged up people pleaser. Wonder why the kids aren’t doing so great?
Imagine being punished over and over for doing the most logical thing possible. Enough to make a person go crazy. When our predictions of what will happen in the world miss the target repeatedly, all you learn is either the world is clown world or your reasoning is impaired.
All you have to do to feel like an isolated lunatic these days is be slightly better at math and recognize what’s happening.
For example, he found God when he found Bitcoin. He is a Christian now. I assume there were bumbs in his life, but his behavior is not a positive thing.
I don’t have much to flex, but I do have a tendency to get the shit eating grin over some successes. So I guess my attempt at staying humble is deleting that from my expressions when I’m right sometimes lol.
I never spoke out about him, because all I have are suspicions. In private I told people that the mission he verbalized and his actions are in direct conflict. Even if this OF girl thing is fake or a joke, I still think that. We need to be as humble as possible when we invite people to see the world as we do (as Bitcoiners). It is already humbling enough.

Short story. I once got a job for making the interviewers laugh over an answer I gave. They were very serious types, but must have heard that too much. They tried to be not so serious by explaining they were going to ask a question just for fun, but I don’t think it really was about having fun. Maybe it was a test. Not sure.
The question was “if you could only take 2 things with you, and you were going to be trapped on a desert island for years, what would you take?”
My answer
I’d take a sleeve of golf balls and a sand wedge. By the time I got out of there, I’d be better out of the sand traps than the fairway. Then maybe I could get into the 80s 😂

I think that comes with the condition that you don’t worry how and what they think of you. I think you are describing love, and love sacrifices for the sake of the other. Should we worry what they think of us, we may lose ourselves. I’m sure many times you knew that talking to your closest friends about Bitcoin was not what they wanted, but it was what you believed would save them. A sacrifice of your likability (what they think of you, in my opinion) for their benefit.

I’m not kidding, what does this mean?
I just matched this situation but for a “normal person” doing a conventional loan. Gave them an 800+ credit score and they put 3% ($11,250) down. This gave them a 7.08% interest rate and the total monthly payment was $3,224 a month.
I matched the taxes and home insurance. Estimated PMI (not much estimation) was $300/month.
Even crazier, VA loans have better than market rates.
