TL;DR I have questions, devs have answers.
#bitcoin has strong architecture, ethos, and values (framework); and, like nature, the environment in which Bitcoin exists is ever-changing. Developers and creators work to maintain the architecture based on this dynamic environment. There is and always will be a great need for continual development in order for Bitcoin to succeed.
Recent talk around the importance of open source development and funding of the work to be done on Bitcoin has me thinking about topics/concerns I would love to learn more about.
Decentralization:
Is there concern around two large entities controlling a majority of the hash power in mining? What are the negative and positive implications of this continuing? What are some proposed solutions to solving this problem if the overall result is negative?
Compliance:
With US ETFs, institutions, and corporations starting to meaningfully participate in the space, are there potential compliance regulations which could compromise the core ethos and values of Bitcoin? (I’m thinking about EO 6102, as well as black-lists.) With mainstream adoption, the US government will have regulatory authority over a large number of bitcoin. What are the solutions to mitigating these risks, if any?
Privacy and sovereignty:
While Bitcoin has advanced in the area of privacy over the blocks, the environment around privacy or lack of it is always changing. Is there a risk in the recent requirements to disclose addresses to the IRS? What are the risks to bitcoin associated with adoption of CBDC’s and programmable digital money created by central banks? What are the solutions, if any, to these risks?
These concerns, and many more, are continually being worked on by developers. I don’t have any of the actual answers, I just have ideas. The people who do the meaningful work on this are the ones who understand the best path forward and write the code. The more diverse this group is, the better the singular realization of the solution can be, in my opinion.

He’s done incredible work combatting Greenpeace’s #Bitcoin propaganda, and is currently working on mining bitcoin with methane from landfills.

I’m going to tune in to this. I’m actively involved in this industry and interested to learn more!
I discovered your problem. Your lightning address in your profile is wrong.
Currently it’s: latchingwithgrace@vipstats.app
It should be:
latchingwithgrace@vipsats.app
Get rid of that pesky t and we should be able to #zap you!

I’m pretty sure you can #zap any npub on nostr:npub1s4m06xdlu6fuhfhs4m3nhpp8xdpsdprwccdktckkzusfu8qzzprqnfpz6a . The difficulty is getting the user on the site to claim.
Meditation is awareness for me. Whatever I am doing, wether sitting, moving, brushing my teeth, etc; I try to give it my full attention. I often forget, or lose the plot, but this is part of meditation.
