This statement has so much weight. Some people look at #nostr and say, well it doesn' thave the reach of #Ex-Twitter so its not worth the swtich. But this is so much better than anything else. There have bene several other attempts at de-centralized/blcokchain based social networks before, like Status & Scuttlebutt, and they never got nearly as far, functional, and not to mention extendable, as NOSTR already is.
Very few people have ever actually been in serious opposition to their government, and I think most people can fully appreciate what a gem we have here, once they get over the high switching costs.
