As much as I love Blockstreams Green wallet having everything in one app, I really love Phoenix Wallet for daily use, and Blue wallet for Watch Only functionality.
Desktop wallets, I use Sparrow for coinjoin and Electrum, because it was my first wallet ever and I'm lovingly loyal to it.
I downloaded the nostr:npub1jg552aulj07skd6e7y2hu0vl5g8nl5jvfw8jhn6jpjk0vjd0waksvl6n8n Green Wallet pre release to test out experimental features. My analysis so far:
Pros:
-Channel Creation is simple and easy
-Channel Creation fee is lower than other popular wallets
-You seem to get double the inbound liquidity you decide to start your channel with (ie start a channel by sending 20k sats and get 40k channel capacity
-All plays well within a single wallet, multiple accounts
-Not a new feature but I love that I have watch-only capabilities on Green wallet. Its the closesr thing I've seen so far for an all purpose wallet.
Cons:
-Lightning payments out of the wallet take longer than typical lightning transactions (5-10 seconds average vs near instantaneous).
-Compared to other Liquid wallets such as Sideswap and Aqua, there doesn't seem to be a way to convert your lightning to liquid which I was expecting.
Overall, very happy with the feature, especially the double liquidity!

I'd like to understand where this went wrong. Tether seems to be a multichain 💩coin. I assume this didn't happen on the liquid network, which has support for this, but someone else holding their tether in a wallet with a backdoor. This would be the equivalent of holding your bitcoin on an exchange. I would venture to guess that had these assets been on the liquid chain, this wouldn't have happened.
