He may have a stealth account already, but the way his posts infested my Twitter timeline despite me avoiding famous people (and dozens of 'see fewer'), I don't think his ego could take being "just one of the bunch".

Bluesky has a central corporation (supposedly a 'public benefit corp') in control, but the Fediverse doesn't.

I understand that you don't like it, but the "enemy" is big corporate controlled social like Twitter and Facebook, not a bunch of smaller federated and distributed social sites. So being able to connect to desired contacts outside those big sites helps remove the "you need a Facebook account or no one can communicate with you" issue.

Every time someone connects with a desired contact across decentralized networks, all such networks are strengthened and the corpocentric networks are weakened.

I wish more Nostr and more Fediverse people understood this.

If that's true, there will be someone who remembers. There may even be a trail of data somewhere. If it can be proven from actual sources, then we can believe it. But this "make bizarre clains without any evidence" needs to be challenged every time.

Right now, SimpleX is one device only. Until that changes, it isn't a serious contender for real world use.
