Running pruned Bitcoin node for Lightning was one of the biggest mistake I have made

Now I know why my lightning experiment never worked :-) ..lost good 100 dollars .. may be I can reclaim some by restoring my Umbrel from cloud ..
Why?
Thing is with pruned node has only handful of latest blocks and is limited in terms of confirming if some old Lightning Network channels are having unspent transactions.
Mine explanation can be not technically correct however, I am not an expert, this is my interpretation of logs and experience from paying LN invoices before and after using unpruned fullnode.
