It sure is sus and fucked up that so many #nostr clients have implemented muting/filtering users, akin to "blocking" on X, instead of auto-replies.
Meanwhile, I don't even know of ONE that has implemented auto-replies, one of the most clutch innovations offered with the concept of uncensored social media.
Nostr devs are apparently about as mentally ill as Jack Dorsey - seeing intellectual discussion as a waste of time and preferring delusions, rather than vice versa.
Has anyone here other than me fantasized before about what it will be like to have an uncensored social media platform with an intricate, in-depth auto-reply system?
My gangstalkers love calling me a "convicted felon" and that's one thing they can't do very much on nostr if they come here, because it could lead to implementation of a trigger-word-based auto-reply system so I can instantly hit every example with:

If someone keeps using the same npub to troll me, I can create an npub-triggered auto-reply that links to the last time I replied by hand, illuminating any points or questions they ignored to make me stop replying.
If I start getting a large audience and the harassment goes from a few gangstalkers to a spam farm putting out new npubs and new phrasing faster than I can keep up - that would be time for kind 0, spam-filter-based auto-replies. These would say "I probably won't see your post, or reply back to it, because I get harassed so much, I've found it necessary to filter my replies to x-or-higher web of trust score" or "to filter my replies to y-or-higher proof of work" or something like that. These would need to be implemented in kind 0, where your client can use the list to post replies on relays, and other clients can use the list to display replies that aren't on relays - this way if you're getting spammed so heavily that you can't get all your auto-replies past rate-limiting, at least standard-compliant clients will still show all of them.
Despite not being implemented, each of these possibilities helps prevent these types of malicious behavior. Gangstalkers are repelled by these possibilities, even as mere possibilities, because they don't want to attract higher levels of prevention and retaliation to their malicious behavior. I'm pretty sure the reason my gangstalkers aren't on nostr is because they know they can't beat me anymore. Most of them have probably moved onto softer targets and the ones that still think about me aren't gonna find a way to stop me other than killing me. They can't use the current lack of auto-replies because I can afford to pay devs to get auto-replies implemented so the best pathway to maximum mental illness is leaving me alone and focusing on softer targets to delay the implementation of auto-replies. They sure as fuck can't get much use out of this nostr place for purposes of gangstalking and harassment once there is a robust implementation of auto-replies. It would be so hard to find targets "soft" enough on a platform with auto-replies. It becomes the polar opposite of platforms like reddit where censorship is used to enforce maximum mental illness.
