Hey. What's OSINT stand for?
Open Source Intelligence.
Although it could be argued the openness feature can also lead towards faulty intelligence, for saying so, it also be true for cases where there are well put together researches that nonetheless are outside official enclosed bureaus of investigation. That happens not only with crimes but also with science, art... it doesn't seem to be other way around though, for purposes of trying to reach clarity, to have both open and enclosed source of intelligence in order to form criteria...
