This represent exactly the fucking fuckery have in the brain today at mozilla. Instead of focus on improving their product in a technical way, their only interest is acquiring users and try to engage them in their shitty ecosystem that trying to emulate what google does.

Its not an "alternative", is just a corporate minded entity that try to do the "little google" and in the end result in being just a more cringe google.

Also google product are often spyware but with a lot of technical merits under the hood. Mozilla products are spyware and are also mostly technically garbage.

So they acquired a good android mail client that worked very well and was super simple and effective, and they plan to add their mozilla account sync and I only can imagine what other useless shit.

In the video they claim "at some point users will understand that thunderbird is the future" WHAT FUTURE NEED TO REPRESENT A FUCKING MAIL CLIENT THAT WORKS ON PROTOCOLS FROM DECADES AGO FUCKING SPOOKY YOU ARE USING RESOURCES TO RUIN A GOOD PRODUCT WITH YOUR SPYWARE INSTEAD OF DOING SOMETHING TECHNICALLY GOOD.

I still use firefox on some platforms like android because is the only way to have a good ad-blcoker and I use tor browser that is basically firefox. I recognize the importance they COULD have, so I hope everytime that they change and start acting less retarded and less spooky, but as time goes they become worse and worse.
