The problem with the entire pride movement is that it is a movement of people who openly live in and identify in their sin. It would be like someone who proclaims to the world that they are a raging alcoholic or serial adulterer, they're proud of it, and love being around people who love sin as much as they do.

Alcoholics get behind the wheel and can kill people. Adulterers hurt the people they're with. But like. Gluttony is also a sin. And that one is kind of the individual's problem. I'm not going to argue the sinfulness of homosexuality or whatever, but like. If we're gonna go to hell, isn't that our problem, not yours?
“sin” is a personal definition, based on your belief system. separation of church and state means that personal religious beliefs shouldn’t be involved in govt decisions, such as denying some people the protections and tax benefits of marriage based on a religious belief that is not universally shared.
pride month is about acknowledging those victories on the way to a more fair, more democratic society where all people are afforded the same protections under the law.
