i vacationed in Georgia - i remember it as similar to California ( where i lived for a year )

Why do you think the CIA had a hand in it. The Russian tyrant psycho sucks, and it’s logical for a majority of Georgians to want to turn away from ties with Russia.

If Georgians turn towards the West I guarantee that they will see their country destroyed by Russia. Intelligent Georgians know that it does not matter if their leader is a Russian tyrant psycho, that is far better than being turned into a rump state and having all your fighting aged men killed on the battlefield. Sometimes peace is worth the cost of compromise. It is not a good time to be adjacent to Russia and also to give Russia the finger. Maybe a time will come in the future when that can happen more safely.
Indeed there may come a safer time to resist and defeat evil - undoubtedly there always is when someone else does the hard work first. In this case, we cannot know how many votes were cast and not counted or how many were fake or purchased by Russia. It isn’t always clear whether a failure to act, or neutrality in the face of evil (including loss of freedom), is moral cowardice or a pragmatic choice to compromise to secure peace or avoid greater conflict.
Georgia's economy is practically a potato trade - you can't tell shit from Shinola with their currency. This is where Bitcoin becomes fundamentally purposeful in peacekeeping - it could introduce a new level of financial clarity and self-sovereignty, letting them trade on their own terms and mind their own business while being friends with all parties.
