Will, you are doing great! It is unbelievable what this app is already capable of in such a short timespan. Maybe I have even contributed to some of your bad feelings by creating GitHub issues!? If so, let me state that it was never my intention to create bad feelings. It is always easier to adress things that can be improved than starting with something new. You have started something new and now the folks are chiming in. It is a good sign, but I understand it can be tiresome.

Regarding passion project: Maybe it is time to introduce a premium tier? You should definitely be able to live from this project and I am 100% sure it is possible. I have created and reviewd business models for many clients with way worse products that still turned out to be successful. Damus is already way ahead of a MVP.
