#vegan #climatechange

I am no vegan. But I do my best lowering meat and dairy consumption low.

I really like meat. Do I think it is ethically better to eat plants than animals? Yes.

Am I too lazy to get rid of all my consumption of animal products? Yes.

What do you do to decrease your perconal impact on climatechange?

I don't think climate change is an emergency or something we can do much about. Life continued to thrive and evolve for millions of years with higher carbon and temperatures than we have now. The CO2 levels in an auditorium are sometimes 400 times higher than in the parking lot outside, and nothing is harmed. I am a vegan because I am repulsed by the industrialized killing and torture of billions of innocent living, feeling beings. I am a vegan because I hate the rape of the Earth. I am a vegan because eating corpses, just on the very face of it, can't possibly be good for us.

I think in the end we should be evaluated by our actions. We can come to different conclusions in some topics and align in others. And sice we live in a free world this can coexist without problem. You, who does not beliefe, that the human factor is big enough for significant climatic change. I thnk we do have.

I am fine with this. I have just seen no good counterproof yet. As far as I know there we have a precedence in how fast CO2 concentration is rising. And the pace of change defines how many species will be able to adapt.

Similar to a projectile and a head. Id depends on the velocity if the bullet can be deadly or not.

I love plants. They are incredible, peaceful, and far more evolved than we are. There is no way to convince me that eating them is ethically better than eating a cow. I also think climate change is at least questionable. People in power should start by ending wars if they really think it’s a problem.
