'.mov' video files only playback on apple software, and usually it's a sign that they have been uploaded from the camera roll without any processing, making them unwatchable on most browsers except Safari and much more heavy than an optimised for web version.

I see so I created a bunch of gifs for myself and it was suggested that I use MOV because the quality is better however that’s because I was uploading them to Nostr build
use .mp4, whoever told you that has no clue. .mov is not a codec, it's a container. It has nothing to do with quality
