Harvard's yearly revenue is 6.5 billion of which 45% are private donations and endowment interest alone. 21% is tuition paid by the students. And 18% from other business the university owns. All research grants, federal, state and private (which is a big chunk) combined only takes 15%. If you think you can control anyone with 700million, you are out of your mind.
