Is nice to listen in. I relate very heavily on the idea they talk somewhere around 1:25:00ish, that an application does not need massadaption to be legitimately useful.

It is very little of hugly helpful things, that get massadaption. And I think not a majority of people are directly attrackted to reading in general.

But still I would argue, that writing and reading is one of the greatest ways to exchange ideas. Not only in present. But through books the ideas are transported through centuries, over frontiers of many different kind.

And most of all, one can not read without training empathy. Reading is inherently empathic. So I would argue microblogging and other nostr application have success when they are used and discussed. The numbers are not important.
