Try KDE, though. 🙂
Already did when I initially vetted all desktop UIs for their accessibility. KDE was... usable. I had to restart the magnifier via qdbus on reboot, each time. Then it worked again but when it crashed, I was left trying everything to restart the desktop because it was jsut entirely gone XD
