Some very good news: Reuters estimates that Ukraine's campaign of air strikes against Russia's economy has managed to take out 17% of oil refining capacity.

Not just oil and gas either: farming has been so badly hit that Russia recently put restrictions on bankruptcies of farming companies to try to slow down the collapse.

This has always been how Ukraine will win, and Russian violence will be stopped forever: accept that the "civilian" economy in Russia is a valid military target, and kill Russians and blow up their infrastructure until it collapses.

Do you know what investments are made to bring this info into russian households? I think Ukraine will win faster, when Russians know that their core economy will only crumble until they stop the war.

A problem here is that western media is underplaying these successes, and western politicians aren't making it clear that this is the goal (for them, it isn't).

If there was a clear message that Russia's economy was going to be attacked until collapse, then Russia might genuinely negotiate to stop fighting and withdraw. But since that message isn't clear there isn't that pressure to stop.

Of course, the Russian population aren't stupid. They know damn well that their refineries are being hit and it's causing shortages of gas. So a more clear message might not actually discourage them.

You don't start a war like this because you think the way we do... The Russian culture is fundamentally evil in an aggressive way. It's probably not as aggressive as Islamic extremitism. But compared to the average extremist Muslim, Russians are on average a lot smarter. Which makes them dangerous. And Russia does have a large and growing Muslim population too...

I think it is quiet clear, that EU wants the rusiian economy to crumble. I would not see an other purpose of sanctions than this.

I really do not get your ani-islamic stance. Islam is a worldreligion as christianity is. Yes there are extreme people within this religion. And there are also white supremacist within christianity when we want to be fair.

There is also millions of Jews in the world. And some of them are terrorist too. My point is: It is idiotic tagging terrorism to a specific religion.

Since terrorism is horrible. But we should start to understand, that they use the religion the same way, as they use civilians. Thet are only shields they abuse. We should stop blaming the shields and start blaming the violent militant groups themselfs.
