All music has formula. It’s called genre. We sort music, even if casually, by sound, style, and substance to determine what we like and don’t like. But when you look at music as a whole tho, there really is no formula.
Sure, some genres are more rigid about the formula than others (pop, death metal, and country come to mind) hence the perceived homogeneity of pop, and the 8million subgenres of metal.
I don't even like country and this is a good song. Lately I've been strictly bluegrass and western.
