Considered doing it by extending NIP-46? We are working on doing a remote signer for Bitcoin in relation with Angor in this manner: https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/46.md

Nip-46 could be used but the latency could be high. If there is demand for that from the mint runners it would be cool.

I don't know how you would do this following the grpc spec correctly thought
