You're missing the point, the most important thing to come up on this September Apple event was the 3nm CPU/GPU chips on the #iphone, sillicon which #apple has bought all the production of.

I am honestly surprised how many people still buy those phones these days. See, I remember when people were literally camping infront of the Apple Store in Frankfurt; I visited that, and saw it live, because I couldn't believe the images online were real. These days are long gone.
Having enough demand to satiate (by their calculations, at least) the fees of purchasing the production of an entire node is quite... insane. o.o
