So #Amethyst's F-Droid version doesn't do *any* notifications? Not even for zaps? That's somewhat unfortunate imo.

Currently amethyst only supports google notifications (on Google play release).
There are open source notification platforms out there.
There is a feature request to introduce a cross platform notification system. Somebody has to build it!
