Good Morning Nostrs,

I just finished my chapter on Turing and von Neumann -- the guys who came up with the idea of a stored program computer. The two came to the same conclusion, but through two very different pathways. Turing was simply pursuing a mathematical problem. Von Neumann needed a machine that could model the detonation of a thermonuclear device.

The story is full of interesting twists, turns, and happy accidents.
