It’s hard to learn finance when you don’t have any money. I remember we had mock stock picking competition and it didn’t really resonate because money itself was foreign to me at that point - I had none.

Well, we offer a personal finance course at the university where I teach, so that's something. Probably would be better to do it before kids take out a bunch of student loans, though.

Now do law

Just basic accounting would be enough, and not ideologically corruptible.

If they did, doing taxes would probably have the greatest focus.
