nostr was more fun when it wasn’t being subverted by money and influence peddling.

Unfortunately they can’t buy me or shut me up. I couldn’t give more of a shit about money or influence.

Cashu I'm less clear about. It's a protocol, not a specific product. Anyone can operate a mint, and indeed, as far as I can see, many do: https://audit.8333.space/

Yes, it is more centralized than Lightning, which is more centralized than L1 Bitcoin. But it has its use cases.

use cashu if you like cashu, i really don’t care. I personally don’t have any use for it and would rather focus on improving lightning tech
