I know lots of people like revolvers and maybe my problem is the particular ones I've tried, but the few times I've shot a revolver, I haven't enjoyed it. It is also almost impossible for most women to concealed carry a revolver or large automatic, so it limits the guns for us.

Yeah there is no one size fits all. I don't do as well with revolvers either (small hands). I can make anything work, but I'm most deadly with a Glock 19 or 26, so that's what I stick with for carry. The revolvers are limited to nostalgia and backup guns for me.

Like this dude (22 LR). Fun to plink with, but I'm unlikely to carry it lol It does stay loaded though. All my guns do.

Revolver bore is always so far above your hand. Massive lever making the recoil worse from a "reaquire the target for a follow up shot" perspective. That is what keeps me with semi auto for practical use.

Any revolver I buy is usually due to some time period fascination. As you can see from the two photos. Very impractical for modern use in my opinion.

Yup.

There are reasons the S&W Shield line in the most carried by females.

I actually carried one years ago. Put over 10k rounds through it (in all weather, ground training, etc) and can't recall an issue with it. Excellent firearm (without the external safety).

I dislike external safeties. They are not very safe.
