why is everyone extra mad this year about pride though, it’s been happening every year since 1970.

My point is that a month is too long, not the parades etc. I like St. Patricks day but if it was a month long I'd be doing a note about how that's too long too.

also st. patrick’s day in my hometown is like a month long, celebrations happen every week leading up to it, and i love it :)

I find a month to be an inordinate amount of time, a day would suffice. Like St Patricks day , and Christmas , and Martin Luther King day etc.
can’t speak for anywhere else but in the united states there are month long observances for a lot of different reasons. it’s nothing out of the ordinary
