I've waited 4 weeks for an appointment with a Physiotherapist for my back issues. Today they call me to cancel tomorrow's appointment. Great, now I need another Physio and have to wait another 4-6 weeks. The state of health care in Germany is absolutely disgusting. You don't need mandatory health insurance if you can't get appointments.

get well soon & I agree

Wont get better. My back is what it is after 30 years in catering. But it's ridiculous that Physio's either don't have a "Kassenzulassung" or only deal with private patients or that you have to wait 1-2 months for an appointment with our mandatory health insurance. I'm paying €300/month and literally don't get any medical treatments.

Btw, same story with pretty much any other doctor. I'm getting my dentals fixed and I've been on that for 6 months now as well. Ridiculous.

So true, paying for a service U don't receive.

I can only confirm all of this

btw: if i were a doctor ... i wouldn't want a "health insurance license" either .... 3-7 minutes per patient sounds like a bad joke …

it is. It's like turbo-checkout at the super market. Fun fact, I've been to three oculists since I'm here and I still don't have a proper set of glasses but each one claimed that my eyes are alright. No Makula degeneration, no grey star etc. So why is my left eye overly sensitive to light and why can't I use my glasses for everything?

🤷‍♂️

is health care better in spain?

It's part of the social security and that's like 40/month and yes, you get better treatment or at least you can get an appointment within days, not weeks or months.

That's why #Bitcoin insurance sounds like the future.

no insurance and paying for things yourself sounds like a better plan. I pay €300/month for nothing but hey, it's mandatory!
