I think it is more like we are molded after God’s characteristics (but obviously proportionally less than a perfect God). For example, just as God designed the world with creativity and ingenuity, we humans have a creative and productive drive. Also, things like a conscience and a sense of justice seem to reflect God’s highest standard of morality.
