Just read through the comnents on this thread and it's hard for me to imagine. I was a late bloomer and got my license in my 20s. I was a burden to everyone, there is no form of public transportation and walking is out of the question as the closest crappy grocery store is like 8 miles away and a big grocery and big box store are around 12 to 20 miles away. The places we live do dictate these milestone life events 🤷♀️.
late bloomer to a driver's license too, think i developed some kind of anxiety and fear towards it, which is why i intended to directly attack it and solve it now
while driving and the freedom is cool, it's more to me about proving myself that i can do it. that with a little bit of suck ass, you can get to success
I think that happened to me a bit, too. Now, I'm just like why did I wait that was dumb 😂. But I get it and you got this 💪💪
seems to be a common theme, can definitely be overwhelming at first
i just calm myself down, saying that it's just learning how to ride an advanced bike with extra steps, and then it seems less scary
how hard is it for you? i mean I'm crazy after learning that i gotta spend thousands € just to transfer my home country licence to a German one and it takes months😂
the driving is more complicated i'd guess, heard they can be rather meticulous
we have the theory + first-aid + driving classes and then our driving school exams (theory and driving) and then the government's (theory and driving)
altogether around ~1400€
for context, the average monthly salary here pre-tax is 1950€
omfg😂😂
