And yes, the Rent is Too Damn High -- but not due to "greedy developers" or whatever narrative is being pushed here. It's because of decades of NIMBYism and car-centric design, and yes, Federal Reserve policy to push single-family home ownership is in there too.
Ironically, the very lifestyle championed by many here as "the good life" :
