Don't be too harsh with noobs even if they are Bitcoin OGs with expertise in other fields.
At least it explains why they don't recognise Monero (yet). Encourage them to learn how to use Linux and Haveno/RetoSwap over Bisq. It will lead them to Monero eventually.
you should be using both haveno and bisq. it is good to have choices.

Absolutely. Buy some non KYC Bitcoin first and use it as security deposit on Bisq and you are good to go. Else you risk to doxx yourself.
