I am a city boy. I am soft as fuck. However, the older I get the more the country calls to me.
I was remembering my first experience being at a rodeo as an adult when I first moved south (I had been to a rodeo as a child, but don't recall much).
One of my biggest takeaways was that I would rather be around rednecks and salt-of-the-earth types than be around city people.
City people are fine (some of them). They have their perks and quirks like anybody. The inverse is also true.
