The intersection of mining and decentralized energy sources is fascinating to me. We've seen all kinds of schemes to use solar, gas flaring, biogas, & etc to power miners... basically, "stranded" or "lost" energy.

AI will ultimately run into similar energy constraints, which is why they're recommissioning three-mile island... Although with AI that is a situation that is arguably being fueled to a much greater extent by VC, i.e. "easy money" from a low interest rates.
