Really? I thought we're here for the decentralisation, freedom of speech and for our privacy? Everything else is a question of preferences and at least Monero is an actual coin with an actual blockchain and not some smart contracted shit-token on some shit-chain.
I haven't used Monero, but it seems to me to be the only other coin that has a use case.
I could argue that but at the same time "use case" depends on the needs of the individual. So yes if you have use for Monero it's a valid currency.
The monero crowd are very preachy, but I still like them. It's the government boot lickers and NPCs I can't stand.
Also, Monero had a fair launch. PoW, sane supply curve, no premine. Lots to like about XMR.
PoW is PoW!
If privacy is a problem in the future we will all happily use it to get around whatever may be coming.
